How to Order a Proofreading or Editing Service?

Requesting a Quote

Please send us the text you would like us to proofread or edit by using our quotation form or by emailing us at [email protected].
 
If the text is not yet available or if you would like a preliminary estimate on how much the work will cost and how much time the work will take, please tell us the length of the text (e.g. word count) and what kind of text it is.

If you are in the middle of writing your text, all we need is a brief sample.

Ordering

Once you have received our quote, please let us know if you approve the price and turnaround time and will place an order. Please also give us your billing address and other billing information along with your approval.

Additional information

When confirming your order, please tell us (if you haven't yet done so):

▪ the language variant (e.g. US or UK English) in which you would like the text to be proofread or edited;
▪ the intended purpose of the text; i.e., who will be reading the text and in which context and format;
▪ whether the text contains passages or terms that do not need to be proofread or edited;
▪ whether a certain style guide should be used for the work.

Delivery

We will deliver the completed work by e-mail. However, large or confidential documents we will send through TransferNow file transfer service. You will receive a comparison version in which you can see the changes (Track Changes) in addition to the final text version.

Billing

We will email you our invoice after we have completed the translation.
